We are in Italy and our phone does not have a sim card - can one be purchased here - is there a way around this, please help
You would have to purchase, and activate the Sim Card prior to traveling to Italy.
A prepaid card from there MAY work if international services was activated prior to going. You would end up with a different phone number though while you are there.
