So, I didn't need a new phone but Verizon was offering Skype and my boyfriend will be teaching in Greece for almost 2 months. So I purchased 2 Blackberry Tours because they were advertised and being compatible with Skype and was assured by 3 people from Verizon on 3 different calls, that this would work in Greece. Guess what?!
Won't work outside the US. I just spent an hour with the last Verizon rep and yep, not good outside the US. Can you believe this?
That sucks especially since Verizon led you to believe this. I have seen it posted and stated that Skype on the BB will only work in the US due to the network design and the functionality behind it. Sorry to hear this.
