I have a blackberry curve model 8330. I am using a link to my Microsoft Outlook email work account connected to my BB. Is there a way to stop spam from automatically being forwarded to my BB? I am blocking it as it comes into Outlook, but it still goes to my BB.
Thanks!

Hi,
That is a great question. The Blackberry itself does not have a way to filter spam email like you can with a program like Outlook or other similar programs. You can filter your email before it arrives at your Blackberry by using some of the ideas offerred in this aritcle at Crackberry. There are a few apps that can also filter your email such as Antair (Google search for this) that can filter your email. My suggestion would be to log into your email account(s) and activate spam filters from there, such as Hotmail, GMail, Comcast, or others. That way, you won't be getting those pesky emails trying to sell you Viagra or something similar. Hope this helps.

Thanks for these suggestions. Does Outlook Express have anything like you suggested to prevent the forwarding? I have looked and do not see anything.

Hey,
I am not sure about Outlook Express, as I do not have that program. You might check over at Microsoft's web site for an answer. I would guess no since it is a very basic version of Outlook. Good luck,
