On my Storm (4.7....I know, I know....still haven't updated to 5.0), the email icons on my homescreen were the standard envelope with a globe. This morning, my primary email account is unchanged, but the other one changed to the large envelope but, instead of the globe, a gold envelope with a little squiggle thing going on at the bottom of it. Not the red asterisk that indicates a new message - just the replacement of the globe for a smaller envelope with the little swoosh/squiggle at the bottom of it.
What is this? Something new?

Have you opened up the message? It could possibly be a pin blast notification, informing you of the new software update. Is the squiggly lines at the bottom a link?

It's not a message notification. It's the email account icon itself. You know how on the home screen, your email account is represented by an envelope with a small globe in the bottom center of the envelope? Well, now, instead of the globe, I have a gold/yellow envelope with a squiggle mark at the bottom of smaller gold/yellow envelope. Also, when I was looking thru some pictures, a picture file with this same icon was stored in my media folder. Have no idea what this new icon denotes. Something different than the previous envelope/globe icon?

Have you accidentally incorporated your other email accounts into your primary account?
