Storm2 can't change browser default

I have a brand new storm 2 and my browser default is HOTSPOT and I have no other choices, I can't  receive email or use the internet.  I have tried multiple battery pulls, wiped the phone back to original with no luck.  This is totally frustrating, the phone is only a day old and already I hate it.  Anyone have any solutions??

Ok go into Browser Icon and push BB Menu button then scroll to options, then you will have a short list click on Browser configuration and be sure it is set to Blackberry under the Browser Identification save your way out by pressing BB Menu again. See if that works. If not open the Manage Connections Icon  be sure it is set to Mobile Network Verizon is ticked.

Hi,

Open your Browser.  Press the menu key and select Options>Browser Configuration.  You should be able to change the Browser identification to Blackberry.  Press the Menu button and Save.  Exit the browser and then reopen it.  Things should work then.

BlackBerry was set and my mobile option is Verizon, still only have HOTSPOT available.  So far I am not impressed with this phone and verizon is no help.

Hi,

Sorry you are having problems.  It sounds like a bad OS on your device.  If you have only had it for a day, I would take it back to swap it for another one.  It sounds like you have done everything correct, just the machine is not working right.
