Today I will be getting a Storm2(9550) from Verizon because of issues with my Storm1(9530). When I use the blackberry desktop to copy my files over, what files do I not copy in order to keep the same operating system in the Storm2, they have 2 different Os systems in them???
Moving your settings,ringtones,pics,contacts will not have any bearing on your OS as you will not "move" it.
XtremeBerry is correct. When you backup files your copying them to your computer and then writing them back to phone when restoring, overwriting the existing information. Your OS will not be affected. Hope you have good luck and enjoy the S2.
