I'm considering leaving Verizon because of the lack of PRIV Support. Just curious to know which carrier you would go to. ATT, T-Mobile or Sprint? I'm sure there are others that I can't think of right now.
Thanks~!
Hi there vzw_customer_support . Do you care to comment?

This isn't really appropriate to post in VZW forums. While I understand you aren't getting the support you expected for the Priv, this is a part of VZW and stuff like this isn't really appropriate. You should post this in a different forum. I think others would agree? phersonmama23dogsrcschnoor

I don't think it is necessarily the wrong place to post such a comment. However I don't think it will result in a useful answer.
Verizon does not comment upon software upgrades to phones until the release is imminent. That people continue to ask for comments from Verizon simply mystifies me when as a customer I can ALREADY tell you what they will tell you. The only comment you WILL receive is a sorrowful reply that they will let you know as soon as it is ready to be released UNTIL it is about to be released at which time the comments will change to an EXCITED:smileyhappy: reply that they are rolling out the update.
You are not going to get updates such as we had a problem with "a" not working correctly, it was sent back to BB for modification. THAT is not going to happen. IF this is what you are waiting to hear about, just leave already or continue to wait and complain. It won't speed things up and it won't change things but you MAY feel better.
As to what provider to switch to, MY recommendation means absolutely nothing. The coverage for various providers in MY area could be 100% different than coverage for various providers in YOUR area. Research for yourself which provider is best for YOU. Use the trial period ALL providers offer to test the coverage in your own area. What are you going to do when someone gives you a recommendation for a provider based upon coverage in THEIR area and it turns out to be dismal in YOUR area????? Does that help you? I don't think so. But it WILL make you all the more frustrated.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Coverage is key, you don't want to be paying for a service you can't use so I'd make sure whichever you pick you are covered. I was told all Verizon Corporate stores are in a 4G area and while I don't know if that's true for other carriers, if it is, it could be a factor and you could choose a carrier that is nearby. Other factors are lifestyle, do you travel a lot? Have you purchased a home or do you rent; will you be moving soon? etc. etc.
I personally have had T-Mobile and while customer service was always there, service coverage was not; I'd often stand in a corner to make a phone call. I however was much younger and living off boxed meals and my profession didn't require me to need spot on service, where in now a lot of employers will text you for various reasons.
I don't think any carrier is perfect, but you just have to pick one that is right for you. Just keep in mind the longer you're with a carrier the greater chance when prices go up, yours won't if you're on a good grandfathered plan.
