Tour 9630 - text messages not received/sent

I have a BlackBerry Tour 9630 and just today started having problems with text messages.

There is one contact who does not receive my texts, and I have not received the 5 texts sent by them to me today.

I have sent/received texts today from other people with not problem at all.

I have restarted the phone and have done the *228, Option 2 update and it still does not work.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just curious, was the problem the OP described a general problem with a general fix or was it a specific fix that was done to the OP's account?

I have a new Droid X2 from Motorola. Sent five text messages to five different people as a test. No one received the text message.

2 had Metro PCS, 2 on Verizon Wireless, and one with ATT. I have the 500 Text message plan. I am receiving text messages without any problems
