Tour keeps rebooting after messenger install

Downloaded the BBM update last night and said yes to both pop ups.  After the download it asked if I wanted to reboot now, which I selected and it began the reboot process.  It never completed the reboot and it keeps cycling the reset process.  I get the red led and then it goes to the white screen for a few minutes and then it goes black and then the red led illuminates and it tries to reboot again. I pulled the battery and tried to reboot that way but the same thing keeps happening.   HELP!
