I have been using a Storm 9550 and syncing to outlook with the Desktop Manager. I upgraded to version 601_b021_ and now when I click on "configure settings" I get a brief bar" the operation is in process" which disappears. It does not go on to the configure screen. I have removed the upgrade and reinstalled the older version I had been using (600_b047_) but it is still not getting to the sync configuration page. Any suggestions?
I have provided some information below that may help.
Step 1 – Un-tether the device and complete a soft reset on the device
-Pull the battery out for 2 minutes
-Place the battery back in
-Wait for the device to boot back up.
Step 2 – Clear the computers cache, cookies, temp files. ***Some cookies contain customized preference and logon information for previously visited websites. Once deleted, the website may prompt for this information again.
Step 2 – Restart the computer.
Step 3 – Close all open applications and launch Blackberry Desktop Manager
Step 4 – Tether the device
Step 5 – Try to access the sync settings once again (instruction below)
