Unable to use CDMA

Hi,

I have a Blackberry storom 9530 Verizon Wireless device its completely unlocked and I am using the phone in India now with GSM service. When I am trying to use the phone by inserting the CDMA sim card its not detecting the network. I had changed the option to 1XEV also to use the CDMA but no luck

I wanted to use the phone with CDMA simcard please help me out how to resolve this.

Can I also copy all the phone numbers from phone at a time to Simcard if so how is it possible

Never heard of a CDMA SIM card. Verizon's network, for which the Storm was made, you realize, is a CDMA network and requires no card for it to operate on a CDMA network. The SIM card in your phone is for use on GSM networks, though India is primarily CDMA. When roaming outside the U.S., the phone automatically can detect which network to use. On the phone's Homescreen, select Options, then Mobile Network. Under the Mobile Network setting, make sure the Network Selection Mode is Automatic and the Network Technology is set to Global. If you set the Technology setting to 1XEV, then that is CDMA only. Looks like you've tried that already.

Is Verizon also your carrier? If so, then you need to have the International Dialing feature on your account, for which you would have to call Customer Care at 800-922-0204 to be added (there's no charge for the feature). If you're trying to use the phone on an Indian carrier's network, then I couldn't tell you. I suppose you would need to give them the phone's MEID number, which you'll find on the back of phone under where the battery sits, or from Options choose Status.

As for copying the phone numbers on to the SIM, there is no way to do all at once. Supposedly you can open the contact, and then press the Blackberry menu key and select "Copy to SIM Phone Book."
