Unlocked Blackberry Storm 2

Have recently purchased a new BB Storm 2 9550 and am using on a t-mobile network. I am able to receive text, SMS and send, etc but not able to make or receive calls. Spoke with RIM and they recommended a OS downgrade to 4.6 or lower. Does anyone have any ideas on this or have they tried this and any recommendations. Don't want o downgrade an OS and have an expensive brick at home!

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with unlocked phones, but I suggest you try posting over on the Blackberry forums at supportforums.blackberry.com

 

Or you can even check out the Crackberry.com forums.

Or how about asking on The T-mobile forums. People very friendly there & can probably help out.
