Updated to v5.0.xx and now I can't find the show Keyboard !!!!!

My phone updated to that new ver 5.0 and now my show keyboard is not showing up when I press the

menu key.....

How am I suppose the clear the log for one..... NEED HELP......

I have my keyboard set to the side camera button for one. Then when in portrait you can open the keyboard. Then very carefully type this:  "/"/" until log opens, then the BB menu will have in the list a clear log. It took me a few times to be sure I was over the " and the /  buttons.  They are aware it will not work in landscape anymore.
