Hi,

Here is a coverage map of Belize at http://b2b.vzw.com/international/Roaming/Central-South_America/Belize.html and you can see what types of coverage you can expect.  I hope this helps.

The Blackberry Storm 2 is a quad-band device (GSM Quad Band 850/900/1800/1900 mHz); therefore it will work in the following countries below:

http://b2b.vzw.com/international/technology/quad_gsm.html

***Please also note that using the Blackberry for data in Costa Rica it will present a charge, unless you have a global plan. Unlimited global packages for data (which would replace your existing domestic package of $29.99) are available for unlimited usage. I have posted the link below for your convenience on these packages:

I have provided a link below for the information on coverage, rates, and dialing instructions:

http://b2b.vzw.com/international/Roaming/index.html (this will provide you with a map, dialing instructions, and rates for your destination)

For text messaging rates please visit the link below:

I hope this information was helpful.

Hi, I live in Argentina and buy a blackberry storm 9550 on eBay. The device is unlocked and I have a data service here in Argentina. But I can register in BIS because said that my account is disabled or blocked. So it seems that is registered with a Verizon account. How can I register my bis service with my carrier?

Hi,

You will have to call Verizon's Customer Service from another phone and have the 9550 at hand so you can give them information they will need.  Verizon will have to release your new device from their system in order for you to enable the device on your home carrier.  You can contact Verizon customer service by calling in the USA (800) 922-0204
Monday-Sunday 6am-11pm.  Hope this helps,

This is not so true because I went to Ecuador and I couldn´t transfer data with my Storm 9550 using the CLARO NETWORK, I did receive calls and text messages, but I couldn´t use facebook, twitter, emails, web browsing, PIN etc.

I would like to know which is the data nework the Storm 9550 uses that it is not compatible with the CLARO network.

Thanks
