I have a Storm 9530 and all of a sudden, the VZ Navigator says "Trip Update Problem. Connection not available. Please try again later." This has been going on for two days now. Any solution?

I spent 2 hours on the phone with Verizon tech support. If you installed like I did the ugrade to the 9530 software system...guess what?

It won't work with VZ manager and they will tell you how to connect with a...no kidding...a dial up connection. No joke. RMI upgraded our Storms and didn't  know it killed our use of the Storm for broadband --  like tethered to my PC on the road.

We should all be so mad I can not express it.

Have you tried pulling the battery of the your Blackberry?

 

Can you bring up a MAP?

 

If the issue presist, I would first click the BlackBerry key and 'Sync with Web'

then go to Preferences>Advanced>Master Clear. This will exit VZ Navigator

 

Re-launch VZ Navgiator and it will refresh the app from fresh!

 

You should be fresh for Navigating!
