VZW (maybe even their customers) - Check it out

VZW may want to pay attention, and not give up so easy on a rising product globally, and especially in the US, BlackBerry's BB10. Here's the rise in customer satisfaction with BlackBerry devices over all other brands, a very sharp rise in only a 1 year period:

Benchmarks By Industry

They may also want to pay closer attention to the ones 'falling' in customer satisfaction, ahem.

BB10 also rated the world's best mobile OS right out of the box, and that was only with version 10.2 , now 10.3.2 is being released to all BB10 devices in the US (well, VZW may be last to release it, probably), but as mentioned, they may want to begin to pay a bit more attention to BB10, get their reps up to date, get these devices in their stores and into customers hands, or, a competitive carrier certainly will:

BB10 is rising, more to come, it's only just beginning, jump on! Once going BB10, the rest just feel old time awkward...

In retail, shelf space is costly.  Businesses tend to stock what people are buying.  I don't know if carriers are giving up on BlackBerry as much as consumers are.  People just aren't buying them...or at least not enough to justify the space they take up on a shelf.  I know it may make some angry but its true when you think about it.  Who wouldn't want to stock a product that isn't selling and generating profit?

I work in the automotive industry...and I can tell you that we don't stock what people aren't buying.  One of the lines in our network is Buick.  While an amazing product to some...we usually only take the required amount of a specific Buick model to adhere to our franchise agreement with the manufacturer.  It's not that we don't want to sell Buick's...it's just that we don't have a demand for them in our current market...therefore we don't stock any more than we have to take per our agreement with General Motors.  If folks suddenly started buying them and there was a major uptick for the product...we'd stock as many as we could sell.  But when a product like Buick (in my segment of the market), and in this scenario, BlackBerry, doesn't justify its existence (i.e. sales) then they get the boot!  It's nothing personal and I don't believe anyone is out to ruffle the feathers of a particular customer...that just the way it works in retails...in my opinion...

Biased?  Increasing satisfaction in a increasingly smaller but more loyal following?  Blackberry is a confused company right now.

I understand what you're saying, I do. The question is, why didn't BB10 sell when it hit the market? There were many complaints right from the start concerning US carrier promotional and sales support

Walk in a VZW store today, looks no different than when BB10 devices 1st came out, they were buried in the back corner, no signs, nothing, buried in the out of date, dead brand device zone. Customers had to first get through reps pushing other brands, then get past all the big, out front displays of other brands, and if they happened to make it back to a BB10 device, the reps didn't know all of what BB10 could do, or were being talked out of getting a BB10 device. It was a lost cause out of the gate, not because the devices wouldn't sell, or that BB10 wouldn't perform, the support wasn't there to sell them. But, now, slowly but surely, those who have found BB10, gave it a real try, some even going back to other brands temporarily, miss BB10 and/or even came back to BB10 because of the ease and feel of the OS.

The carrier(s) didn't do their part to fully promote BB10 as they already do the others. Maybe there are inside reasons for that. Many still don't even know that BB10 runs both BB10 and Android apps or all of the other features of the OS. And each new BB10 update continues to show the true power of the OS.

Just some thoughts...

BlackBerry isn't confused, it's been restructuring and succeeding quite well at it, as even the market analysts are reporting. They are focused and determined. Biased? To some degree, as we have tried other brand devices, and yes, have found BB10 to be the performer. If you look at the link, all brands were evaluated, but it was BlackBerry that surpassed them all in increased customer satisfaction.

This isn't the time frame up to 2010 when blackberry saw its heyday. They fell behind the times

Simple as that. Will they recover in the us. Market? Highly doubtful. Blackberry will NEVER  be relevant to android or apple, just like if say for instance giraffe comes out and destroys apple and android. It's technology. Deal with it

I was not referring to you being biased, that is ok and expected.  I am saying the sample was biased to favor more favorable answers since the remaining users of blackberry would be more loyal for sticking around.  The non-loyal have all bailed.

That's interesting, thanks for your comment. Funny, one can remember everyone saying the same thing about Apple back when they were laying off, restructuring, closing buildings down, etc. People didn't realize what was good, back then, same today, just gotta have what everyone else is getting, good or bad, so, hopefully, when the giraffe has its head fully raised back up again, folks will remember what you said...deal with it...as BlackBerry, their Enterprise, BB10 isn't done yet, it's in its opening stages.

In the meantime, here's the highest rated smartphone on VZW, that they won't even carry or promote in their stores, kind of tells the story and makes one wonder, why?:

Got it, thanks. Not sure where you're seeing the bias from ACSI or Digit.in though, as neither are loyal to any one brand.

Unfortunately, all the great metrics in the world don't make up for the one that says BlackBerry's GLOBAL market share is only 1.4%. The iPhone sells more devices in a weekend than BlackBerry sells in a year. The other thing that doesn't show up is the frustration of users who cannot find the apps they get with other platforms.
