I purchased a Blackberry Curve at BJs in Quincy, MA. It said $100.00 instant rebate. No instant rebate, I have to send it in. I send it in and it is accepted on June 17th. I have not received it yet and when I spoke with a Verizon rep, she said it would take 6-8 weeks! They would not give me 6-8 weeks to pay my bill.
Don't fall for this SCAM. I am telling everyone I know not to fall for Verizon's SCAM!
was that a corporate store or a indirect store (premium retailer)?
It was at a Verizon booth at BJs store. The employee gave me a Verizon business card.
I wouldn't label it a scam just the slow way. This is why I buy my phones off the website. You get the discount immediately, next day shipping, sometimes free activation. Plus you don't have to go in a store and spend most of the day getting a new phone.
