Came out very recently, yesterday I think. Have you tried using BlackBerry Link to check for update?

The update came out yesterday.  It should be availble on your phone.  If not check Black Berryt link if you have that software on your computer.

It's available on the Q10. I just did a manual "Check for Updates" and it popped up.

Well,

We Z30 users are still waiting.  Hopefully, it shouldn't be long.  I wonder if they stagger the updates so everyone with a OS 10 device isn't downloading and putting a strain on the system.  Anyways...

I received the update on my Q10 two days ago and now it is overheating and draining my battery.  Any fixes for this or is there a way to revert back to prior version?

One thing you can try is a hard reset. Hold volume up and down buttons for 10 seconds or more until you see BlackBerry name pop up. It should help recalibrate battery.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I did the hard reset and have let the phone just sit on the desk for some time now without use and with only 1 active frame open.  The temperature is at 89 degrees F where it would typically be at around 74.  With any use it jumps up quickly over 90.  Any way to revert back?  I don't see benefits to this update.  Thanks.

I haven't seen this problem with newest OS in any forums I read. Only suggestion would be to give it a few days.

If you are still having problems, you may have to have a Verizon tech check, I firmly believe that it is not OS related.

I will give it a few days as suggested.  I have tried the hard reset, battery pull, and temporarily switching my service to another device then back again.  It is still doing the same thing.  Although there may not be any other posts out there it does not conclude that the OS doesn't potentially have a glitch.  This began as soon as the OS was updated without any issues prior to.  There likely is at least some contributing factor that has caused this to occur.  I'm not a big fan of coincidence.  Thanks for your replies.

Be sure that when you do a battery pull, turn off phone first, not like the early legacy BlackBerries (OS7 and earlier).

One other thing you can try, but it may seem drastic. Do a full backup with BB Link, follow directions here:

http://crackberry.com/how-reload-os-blackberry-z10-or-blackberry-q10

Second way that says harder, but I find it the easiest, fast also.

Sometimes reloading the OS clean will get rid of old files that may be interfering.

Good Luck!

I'm having similar issues after the update.   I don't have the temperature problems but my battery is draining in only a few hours.  I can't get more than six hours out of a full charge
