I have BlackBerry 9630 for ~ 2 months. It worked quite well and I didn't have any issue with it.
I didn't upgrade or made any changes to it but today scrolling ball stopped to work properly. I mean I can scroll any application or menu horizontally but when I try to scroll it vertically it works only downward i.e. I can't scroll any list or application upward.
Hard reset didn't help.
Any idea how it could be restored?
A couple of things could be going on here. One is that it might be a temporary software or freezing issue that be fixed by pulling the battery.
Second is that your BB Tour's trackball might be defective. There is a known issue with the trackball on the first batch of Tours that were manufactured. Contact technical support from a different phone, have yours with you, at 800-922-0204 or *611 from a different VZW mobile.
