According to Verizon's web page, CDMA roaming is now possible in Hong Kong, with a $1.99/minute roaming rate.http://b2b.vzw.com/international/Roaming/Asia-Pacific/Hong%20Kong.html
But, when I go to http://b2b.vzw.com/international/Roaming/Asia-Pacific/index.html
Hong Kong does not show up in the list. So Can somebody help me understand if Verizon offers CDMA service in Hong Kong?
Thanks.
Is not up to Verizon to offer the service in HK, it depends if there is still some CDMA network left in HK. I've got couple of friends who traveled to HK and China and were able to get reception with a regular VZW phone. Just call them and enable international dialing and add the International Data Package if you need it. Just remember the CDMA coverage will depend on the place since there are some spots that will not have it.
