I think the question was already asked and answered...
You need a service plan to use the mobile network. Verizon's service plan/phones are not compatible with the mobile networks available to you in Myanmar. If there is wi-fi available, you may be able to use the wi-fi onthe phone without having a service plan (I used our home wi-fi with my Bold before I activated it), but not all of the features of the phone will be available. Basically just the web browser; but no calls, texts, BBM, email, etc.

I guess I am not as confident as SuzyQ that your question was correctly answered or that you understood the answer, otherwise why are you asking this again?
When you say "mobile network", do you mean "cellular network" or "wifi network"?
It appears that Verizon does not have an agreement with any networks in Myanmar. Are you asking if you can have the phone unlocked so that you can use a SIM card from a local provider in Myanmar? You said back in January that you had purchased the phone 1 month earlier, so I will assume you purchased the phone in December. Did you purchase the phone at a discount in exchange for signing a 2yr contract? Have you continued to pay for Verizon service since the purchase, did you cancel your account, or have you failed to make payments to your account? Were you charged an ETF or have you failed to pay an ETF if you have canceled your account or failed to make payments? If you have failed to do any of these, it will impact what assistance Verizon will be willing to give you in order to unlock your phone. Is your phone compatible with the local network?
For Verizon to unlock a phone for use with another provider's SIM card, they require the line to be active and in good standing on a Verizon account for 60 days. Do you meet this requirement?
Did you contact the Verizon rep which had replied to your other thread? If so, what did he tell you?
