Weird Storm Upgrade Error Message. HELP!

When performing the web update I get the following error

" You cannot update your software using this system as your device is currently activated on blackberry enterprise server or blackberry profesional software. Please contact your administrator for updates or check for updates from your carrier, service provider"

I am a simple straight forward residential customer and have no idea why it even suggests that I am a enterprise customer. My wife's phone updated just fine.   any help will be appreciated.

I went to verizonwireless.com/storm and followed the link for download software.

UP!

BTW I have tried the web update with no success, and then the update via my phone "wireless update" says that there are no update's either.

I haven't tried the BDM yet,    I'm at work now won't be able to do that until later,   but if there are any suggestions without me calling VZ direct, that would be appreciated.

Hi,

If you activated your phone on the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) then you should be able to upgrade via the web.  You may have to resend your service books.  Go to Email Settings and press the Menu Key.  Select Service Books and press Send Service Books.  See if that will help you. You may have to update via Blackberry Desktop Manager on your PC.  Also, the Wireless Upgrade probably won't work for a while.  For some reason, that never seems to work.  My son has a Curve still with an older OS on it and the new OS has been released by VZW for a couple of months.  The wireless upgrade still does not show up when you press wireless upgrade.
