Weird message every time I open the flip

Everytime I open the flip phone I get this message:

Uncaught exception:java.lang.Nullpointexception

I'm having major issues with receiving emails and now my phone doesn't ring however it beeps when someone leaves a message and i get a text. Yes, the ringer is on.

I've tried updates...no available, taken out the battery and nothing works...

it's getting very irritating as I won't receive emails for a few days and then all of a sudden I have a few hundred in my phone inbox...
