Is there a satisfactory blackberry or smartphone that doesn't cost an arm and a leg if a person wants to upgrade before the two year period is up?

Not sure how long you have to go, But Main Line can upgrade with discount pricing after 1 year, new every two at 20 months. Other Than that, The cheapest NEW Blackberry is about 399.00 with pay as you go.

Blackberries are not cheap phones. They are considered top of the line. Its kinda like a ferrari, you cant get it for the price of a ford focus.
