See thread ....Blackbwerry Bold 9650 OS 6 Upgrade....
It answers what we know so far.....and what I know is it rocks..
Once we get information on OS6 update we will pass it along.
Hi, all,
I noticed where Sprint just released OS 6 for their Bold 9650 devices. They released 6.0.0.415 today. Hopefully soon, we will see an OS 6 release for Verizon Bold devices.
Doc
I'm running 6.0.0.333 I got from blackberryforums.com. Been over a week...stable as all get out..not one lock up or batter pull needed..love the browser..love the speed. Come on Verizon.....make it official!!
Knowing verizon they will want us to pay for the update, just like everything else.
updates are never charged for. they are free
I find it difficult to believe that a responsible employee of Verizon Wireless would pass along a message that appears condescending to the paying end-user base. Software patches just don't materialize over the weekend and given the number of complaints on dropped signals and the constant switching of handsets, one would think Verizon would be more forward coming than such a terse reply. Given it may be a RIM manufacturing issue, but Verizon is where I pay my bill and its them taking a hit on client service.
