I understand your anticipation for that new device DEMON_COFFEE! We do not have any information about preorder for this, or any other device coming to our network in the future. Please be assured that preordering will be featured on our website at http://vzw.com when the phone is ready to be preordered, check often.

I've called customer service this morning after few hours it was announced this morning. The following is how the conversation went.
Me: I would like to know when Verizon have Blackberry Classic in stock?
Rep: We don't carry Blackberry Classic.
Me: Are you serious? Have you read the memo? It was announced this morning.
Rep: I'm sorry sir, let me check.
Me: Thank you.
Rep: We have no knowledge of when the device is available.
Me: Thank you for your time.
It seems like neither Verizon representative does not care about the device or they did not read the memo. This is sad, since the representative should have knowledge, and the information should be somewhat transparency to the customer. Come on, customers are with Verizon for a reason, and that is customer services and they should not care what device a customer use.

Early 2015. On a sidenote Get with the program. Verizon doesn't release a drop of info until the phone is for sale. Always been that way never going to change

When I bought the BB 9850, I was told on the day it dropped that they did not carry that phone. I had to refer the customer service rep to the VZW website, and to her surprise they did sell that phone...

Just do what I do and just check Verizon news site often:
http://www.verizonwireless.com/news.html
With luck an announcement could be made a day or two before Classic is available.
Never advance notice is too generic, a month ahead not likely. A day or two sounds reasonable.
We never know what any carrier is going to do, but I was really hoping the Classic would be available for Christmas.

I've got the same question - if there's any news, I'm all ears.

I see for now the Classic isn't available from VZW yet. I was really hoping that it would be available for Christmas.
It was at the top of my wish list. Guess my wife saved some money,
Hopefully soon. Birthday is in April, that gives Verizon a little time.

Glad I'm not in a contract, so I can move to a Carrier that already has the Classic...Just in case.

There is a reason why companies don't announce things too early. it's called Osborne Effect
