When is the Storm 2 going to be available?

its crazy that today is oct 24 and verizon is suppose to relase on oct 28 but no one has heard this info out of verizon's mouth? we got ads for the droid with no picture and expected day nov....the storm we got nothing. just word of mouth...blogs...he say she say....but i'm all for the 28th...well really at this point i dont care because i'm going to use my storm1 for a few more months. if you just purchased a storm1 i say keep using it...no need to upgrade to a storm2 unless you just have to have wifi or you got to have that new piezo technolgy surepress2 keyboard....the new storm1 OS that is to release monday will make your storm run like brand new...save your money....imo

Yeah, I think they're just being lowkey about it. For the original Storm it was months of advertising and the device ended up being an epic fail. I think, despite the vast improvements of the new device, that they're trying to avoid a similiar situation. Look for an official announcement Sunday or Monday. But seeing that Infomanager page that says October 28th with my own eyes and seeing a huge pile of Storm 2 boxes in my local store, it's hard for me to believe otherwise.
