is anyone from Verizon going to give us any real information about the passport coming to this network?
as much as I do not like AT&T I will be forced to move if nothing changes.
The Z30 is gone from the Verizon store... is Verizon dropping Blackberry altogether?

J311, we've partnered with our Blackberry friends to give you the best wireless experience possible! However, at this time, we have not been provided with a confirmation or release date. But, stay tuned right here: http://bit.ly/n5snpq

That's not really an answer. Are you working to be a politician? That's the same sort of NON Answer they give.
How about telling us the truth about why the Z30 is gone and which new BlackBerry phones you will be offering?
We aren't even asking for a specific date. We care about freedom, privacy and security and a superior OS. That means we want BlackBerry 10 and NOT one of the others you like to push on us.
Just tell us IF the BlackBerry Passport or Classic is coming. Let us move to AT&T where we can use Unlocked GSM phones, even if they are an evil company.

I agree that we are not receiving a decent answer concerning the Passport. Unfortunately, AT&T has an exclusive at this time, yet aren't even selling it yet. Hopefully BlackBerry takes notice and slaps them upside the head. Then release the Passport to all US carriers. AT&T does not deserve an exclusive.

I am in the same boat. I prefer not to leave Verizon, but will go when my contract is up in Spring if they don't carry the Passport.
It seems a huge shame that they won't even provide a yes, no, or date.

Verizon will release the Classic, not the Passport. I would caution anyone about leaving a carrier, if they're getting good service, simply to get the new hotness in phones. I did that once and it was a tragic disaster in the Shakespearean sense. If you're getting good coverage with Verizon you need to think long and hard about giving that up. What good is a flashy new mobile phone if you constantly lose connectivity and suffer slow data speeds?

Have to agree. If I decide to change carriers, it will take a lot more than the available of a specific phone.
As much as I complain sometimes, Verizon has been quite good to me for 15 years.
Think I'll hang around for a bit.
