When will Verizon release 7.1 os for 9930??

I am in need of the hotspot feature for Blackberry 9930.  Does anyone know when verizon will release it?

It appears that it is imminent based on a support document posted on VZW's website -- http://support.verizonwireless.com/pdf/system_update/bold9930.pdf.

Blackberry announced the release of 7.1 this morning.  Any idea when it will be available for my 9330.  I'm on the verge of leaving BB because of the unavailability of the hotspot feature.  Also, the PDF that was posted doesn't work.....really hard to find information when  it's not properly posted.

OS v7.1 was released for the 9930 on Tuesday, 10 January 2012.  It can be loaded three ways:

  • OTA (open device Options, select Device, followed by Software Updates);
  • downloaded using the Desktop Manager; or
  • downloaded from http://vzam.net/blackberry and installed using either the Desktop Manager or AppLoader.
