I have a Blackberry Curve. I've only had it a couple of months and I'm still trying to figure it all out. It's actually driving me crazy because my ringtones play 3 times EVERYTIME that I receive a text or e-mail. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this? I've looked at everything and can find nothing that I see to correct. Thank you!
You need to find your Profiles icon and click on it. When a little menu pops up scroll down to the bottom and click Advanced. You'll see a list of all profiles available to edit, click on the one you want to edit. You'll then see a list of all the things you can set alerts for. Find the ones you want; text, email, MMS and click on it. Inside you'll see options to adjust the volume, tone and number of beeps. Adjust the number of beeps to 1 or 2 and save. Repeat as needed.
