Will a Blackberry Passport work on Verizon network?

I have a Blackberry Passport that I purchased on Amazon and it is a model that has:

WCDMA 1, 2, 5, 6

LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17 and 20

Does Verizon use voice ONLY on CDMA BC0 and BC1 or are they doing voice on WCDMA in the US and will migrate to VoLTE anytime soon?

I see a lot of users on forums wanting to keep Verizon but so many hinges on they want to use a Blackberry Passport on Verizon's network.

Will they allow it even if the phone isn't purchased from Verizon?

Will it even work with good coverage with not supporting CDMA and use the WCDMA Bands 2 (1900) and 5 (850) here in the US?

I would seriously consider Verizon, but I can't seem to find anyone who has ever tried a Passport on Verizon's network.  Might be a nice bump in new customers to Verizon if the network supported the Passport.  Might also be VERY good for retention of customers who want the Passport bad enough to go to a network that supports it.

Thanks!

No, it will not work on Verizon. First, without CDMA you won't get any 3G signal. But more importantly Verizon will never activate a phone they did not sell themselves. For now, voice is mostly over CDMA. VoLTE is being rolled out but coverage is not complete.
