blackberry 9630 dialling problm

I have an unlocked blackberry 9630 (verizon). it incorrectly dials numbers such as *114# or *123#.

I am using this phone is Zambia. So when i call *114#, its suppose to show  "Please Wait" and then show my account balance after a few seconds. However, this phone just dials it like any other number, so i cant check or recharge my airtime.

I am able to make and receive calls, only this *114#, *113# is the problem.

I have tried wiping the device and updating the OS but still nothing works.

What settings do i need to make?

Those would be incompatible in that country if I am correct.
