Ive been told my call back number displays at the bottom of sms text messages when i send them. i lost my manuel and cant figure out how to fix it. i tried going to options to turn it off but i cant find the callback number option. how can i fix this??
Hi,
If you do not want your number to display in SMS text messages, then go to Options>SMS Text. Where you see Callback Number: (your number should be here), just back space to delete and save.

I found the answer.
On the Razr Maxx:
1.) Touch Text Icon
2.) Touch Menu Key (lower left)
3.) From the popup menu, touch "Messaging Settings"
4.) Scroll down until you see "Callback Number"
5.) Make sure it's NOT checked (i.e. NOT green)
I just sent a text msg. to myself and my number is not there.
Voila!
