Thank you for the information StreetDocRN. Yes, removing the battery for one-two minutes to perform a soft reset will fix minor issues. A device will usually come with the permissions already selected but in some cases, for different applications you have to ensure the device has permission to download the application. You can use the steps below
.
- From the Home screen, press the Menu button.
- Select Browser.
- Select Get Apps.
If the VZStart page does not appear automatically, navigate to http://start.vzw.com.
If the Get Apps option is not available, navigate: Menu button > Options > Browser Configuration then ensure Browser Identification is set to BlackBerry. - Select the appropriate application.
Depending upon device software version and hardware capabilities, the list of available applications may vary. - Follow the step-by-step instructions to begin the download.
Depending upon the application selected, the number of steps (e.g. license agreement, language selection, etc.) may vary. - Ensure Set Application Permissions is selected (checked) then select Download.
The application version may differ from the example shown. - Ensure all permissions are set to Allow, press the Menu button then select Save.
- If presented, select Yes.
- Select OK.
Once this is completed, simply power cycle your device. If you continue to have issues, we will need to speak with you to perform Trouble-Shooting.

Hi,
Usually, that error message goes away after you pull the battery out for a minute and then restart the device. Hope this helps.
