downloading videos

I have been having problems downloading videos into my blackberry storm.Every time i use desktop manager i hook my phone up and put the movie to download into phone it starts downloading then all of a sundden the desktop manager shuts down.Dont know what to do.Can anyone help me.

Are the videos you try to download "formated" to the Storm? (mp4) That what it says in my Storm's media files. Maybe you need to download a "third party" program on your computer to convert videos to Storm's format like Realplayer or something else. Make sure videos are set to go into media card, not device memory. Hope this helps.

Stop using desktop manager to transfer media; it's way too buggy. Next time, connect your phone to the computer and enable Mass Storage Mode. You can then access your media card as you can any other drive on your computer. Just drag and drop your video files into your video folder on that drive.
