i recently had to replace my bb storm 9530, now all the ringtones on my memory card wont play on the new one. you can see them in the list and all the new ones i download play... but the ones i have on the memory card will not. any suggestions ?

I would try moving the ringtones over to another disk or your computer, then format the card from within your BB operating system. Once you do that, move the ringtones back to the phone card.
I don't know, but it might have something to do with how different phones, components, etc. write to the disk. There's been several bugs solved when it came to reading files off of sd cards, solved by letting the card be formatted by that phone and putting the stuff back on there.
