problem downloading ebook programs

My blackberry 8130 will not download any ebook programs. It just says something about inside or outside the firewall. I cant even go into the VZW tones to browse, the message I get says that my device doesnt support it and to contact my administrator. ??? very frustrating! Can someone help?
