i have a bb tour and the mouse goes up and sideways but wont go down. have tried alcohol but still wont work. is it fixable?

A little trick you can try on your Tour. First, turn your device off. Next, place the device on a hard, flat surface. Now, gently depress the trackball while at the same time moving the trackball up, down, and side-to-side. Repeat this motion a few times. Now power your Tour back on and see if the trackball is more responsive. This little trick has been known to work.
