space bar not working!

The space bar on my BB Curve recently stopped working. When it does, it skips ahead all by itself. Also, when i'm in the menu screen, my trackball wont move, but yet it moves anywhere else. Any suggestions?

Hey,

 

Have you tried a battery pull to reboot your device.  That might get it working better.

mine isn't either...and i have taken the battery out and tried to re-boot.  This just started last night

Hi Aimee91301, I understand it can be very difficult to type without a space bar. Does the key seem physically stuck at all. Try pressing down on both sides. Which model Curve (8330, 8530 or 9330) do you have? If all other keys are working and spacebar still not working, this sounds like a physical issue with the phone. If the phone is under warranty, and no physical or liquid damage, we can replace it through warranty. Please send me a PM with your name & mobile number if still having this issue.
