Are you stuck with just band 13 like the rest of us?

My U11 worked great, no issues at all for about ten days. Then, brick.
Nothing. Two hours with tech support. I have a Pixel now that I like even
more. No issues at all. The U11 is on its way back to HTC. Bummed but I
like the Pixel. I wasn't sure that the U11 would always work so not worth
keeping it.

I got an S8+ instead and it was CHEAPER (yay Best buy) I’m still waiting
for my refund from HTC.

It is a shame. I have had HTC since Incredible. I was used to the
interface. The Pixel is great though. No craplets. We will see how long the
refund takes. Good luck.

Yes the unlocked version is band 13 only.
Tbh I'm probably going to switch to Sprint anyway. Same package as VZW for $20-30 less a month.
This is an interesting read: https://forums.androidcentral.com/htc-u11/818221-verizon-band-4-update-2.html

That's funny because I switched from Sprint to Verizon. I live in a rural area and Sprint's coverage is terrible out here. From what I've been hearing the Unlocked U11 won't work on Sprint. You have to get the Sprint version.

That may or may not be true. If I put a Sprint SIM in and flash the stock Sprint rom / firmware it could theoretically work. It's amazing what those guys on the XDA forum have to offer. I might just stick with what I currently have that's working. It would be nice to save money with Sprint though.
