I have a phone on our account that is paid off and can be upgraded. Do not want to go into another Contract and have a monthly payment on a cell phone. Does Verizon accept unlocked phone for regular accounts. I don't want a prepaid phone.

Its a shame the people in the Verizon Stores don't know this. I was told only Samsung and Apple unlocked phones are accepted. I'd like to file a complaint with the FCC but, I'm too lazy.

I want to make sure that you get the correct information at all times. Did you have a particular device make/model in mind when you asked about the Non-Verizon device?
