$200 gift card received empty

Verizon promised me for the 200 dollar gift card per new line that bring from other service provder. I submitted 4 requests for the 4 lines (total 800 dillar) I brought to Verizon. I received 4 emails with gift card numbers and PIN (btw who sends gift card number and PIN in same unsecured email).
When checked, all 4 gift cards had zero balance. That means the gift cards were already used. Since last 3 months I have been calling the Verizon customer service multiple times to get this issue resolved. Everytime there is a new agent to whom I have to repeat the story. Everytime they escalate the matter and promise me to resolve it in couple of days. Every call wastes my 30 to 60 min. But nothing has happened so far to resolve the issue

Did enybody face this? How was this resolved? Is there any other escalation process than just calling Customer Service number?

Good luck! We had 2  500 cards that were never received I have been fighting with Verizon for over a year! Service sis awful and no consideration for a long time customer

I was promised $200 gift card and iPods. First they claim, I had to have service for a certain amount of time.  Then, when I did speak with someone after the preliminary period, it's been nothing but run arounds, on the phone, email, and chat.  I've never experienced anything like this before.  I've had Verizon cellular for over 20 years , so to experience this after moving into a new home and selecting them as my internet, cable and home provider has been traumatizing.  Like someone else said,  you're on the phone 30 minutes to an hour being tossed around from person to person, and chat I was tossed to 5 different people until I couldn't take it anymore.  Since I didn't get my promotional items, I'm going to switch services because I have nothing to lose and didn't gain anything but a headache.

I know. It is really sad to see this kind of Gift card mess up from reputed company like Verizon. I have still not received any resolution from them yet. Looks like I have lost $800.

They did the same thing to me and it was nothing but the run around every single time I called to find out what's going on with the promised gift card.

Yep same thing happened to me I never even got it. I am over it. I have been with Verizon for a few years my plan is currently suspended because my son has a lot of issues going on right now. I am thinking about just returning my phone and ending my service all together. I never get service anywhere. And canโ€™t get help through the help line oh and canโ€™t talk to a live agent because my services are suspended!

I just got a &200 gift card as well for buying a phone and adding another line.   It also has a zero bakence and was mailed with the new iphone.    Frustrating
