Back in June, Verizon offered a BYOD program for eligible devices under the $45 Unlimited Plan. My phone was compatible for Verizon service and was activated once I received the SIM Card. The service was great and I was able to use the Hot Spot service which I require for my Day to Day usage. But starting September after reviewing the new Plan Rates, I decided to convert my plan over to $55 Unlimited service plan. Now that this plan includes 5G but my BYOD device no longer works properly.
BYOD are not compatible to the new unlimited plan and I cannot recover grand father plan !

Either your phone is compatible with Verizon service, or it isn’t. There is absolutely no difference in its function on one plan versus another. I don’t know why your phone is no longer working properly but it has nothing to do it with it being a BYOD. Have you contacted tech support?
