Hello,
I am currently receiving the BYOD credit and will be purchasing a new phone from Apple paid in full. I want to verify that I will still retain my credit as long as I purchase the phone through the Apple Store and select “connect to any carrier later” and then activate the phone on the same line after receiving it. I’ve read other posts in the community about following a similar process at Best Buy and wanted to verify this would work as well. Are there any other steps I should be aware of?
Thanks

I also have the same question. Planning to buy an unlocked iPhone from Apple while enrolled in BYOD. I want to make sure that the promotional credit is not impacted. Thank you.

I know I would want to make sure my promotional eligibility was not impacted, Danmagill. We would need to take a look at the specifics of the promotion to offer an accurate answer to this question, and as such we will need to review your account. Please be on the lookout for a private note from us so we can help.

I am in the same boat. I brought my iPhone 12 over a few month back and its currently receiving the BYOD credit...I am looking to buy a phone from apple or other retailers in full. chatted with 2 Verizon representative, and both said I will lose my BYOD credits! which is so frustrated. I already used my iPhone 12 for 3 years now, and i am now locked in for another 3 years just because of this BYOD credit?
can someone pls help? ty

We can provide some information on this promotional credit. This credit will not be removed from the account if you activate another device. This promotional credit will end if you disconnect your account or transfer your number to another account. ~Peter

Thank you for clarifying this. This should be information on the FAQ page for BYOD.
