So I made the switch, kinda, and instantly regret it. Shout, I’m not even all the way transitioned. Yesterday was the most inept, inefficient, unhelpful customer service I have ever experienced.
First, I ordered my new phone online. Even though I specified several times during the ordering process, I ended up with a phone that doesn’t have the needed or desired memory. I received the phone from FedEx and immediately went to the Verizon company store. The employees were pleasant. However, they were unhelpful. The rep said they didn’t even carry the phone I wanted (the website said they were available). Then I called customer service on the phone. The operator barely spoke English and was completely lost. I explained the same thing 5 times and this guy just couldn’t understand why I wanted to trade the phone. I went back into the store. The rep attempted to call customer service too. He became frustrated and stated he couldn’t help me. I then was given the run around by chat and lastly, I used the text option. Holy moly! They were moving at sloth speed. No responses for long periods of time. There has to be a change to how business is done. Finally, I look at my bill and everything that was supposed to be excluded, wouldn’t you know, they were right there! Included to the fullest extent.
I’m really regretting my move and feel I should be compensated for my wasted day. I know my last carrier would have.
