I added a new line to my account and now I’m no longer the account holder

I added another line to my prepaid account yesterday, I’ve been with Verizon for YEARS and my boyfriend wanted to get off AT&T. I went through that process and he has a SIM card from Verizon coming the mail. Today I go onto MyVerizon to track the SIM card order and now it says that certain functions aren’t available to me because I’m an account member and not the owner. I’m so upset…it says my plan is now $65 instead of the $50 I had been paying because I have years of loyalty discounts and I don’t know what to do. My boyfriend and I split bills so it’s my responsibility to pay the phone now but I can’t because they took me off as owner.
