Can you verify your APN settings?

I am still on the phone looking for the APN settings, the Tier 2 tech told me the "correct" settings, I entered them into the phone, restarted, but still nothing. He is submitting a ticket to Verizon Network Solutions to check why its not working.

Second question to you, or anyone else with this issue:

Have you had your IMEI added to the Verizon Network, as suggested earlier in the thread?

I had this Tier 2 tech submit mine, just to see if it helps. He told me the phone is registered as "Not a Verizon Device", whatever that means, hopefully the IMEI being added will help, in 2-3 business days.

My device is registered. I found the settings on the Verizon site under

apn settings for a non vzw device.

To update only message+ app seems to allow me to receive messages. I can

send from any app.

They did the same thing for me twice, said to wait a day or two and it should work. In my case it did not

When you refer to "message+" who is the developer of that?

I have used the Verizon Messages app (red logo, per Verizon tech support during troubleshooting), this app would send but not receive, just as the built in HTC messaging app.

I have not tried to get anything from Google to work as a messenger app yet. But I have been told some of these messenger apps are data (wifi) based, so they will appear to make the phone's message function as it is supposed to.

I can use the google voice number that I created, and have a one way text conversation with myself. So I suppose I have data based texting with a different number for the weekend. Hopefully something comes form the tickets created with HTC and Verizon. If anyone has any updates or suggestions, I'm all ears!
