I signed up for verizon 2 years ago under the promise of a $500 usd gift card if i bring my own device. After enabling the device they had me jump through additional hoops to file an online claim with a claim number. I still have not heard back and when I call verizon i get a "Sorry it has been 2 years, we cannot do anything" response.
When i try to speak with someone higher up, all i get is "we have no notes on your account" about the gift card, please visit the same store where you signed up, despite me having a rebate claim number.
Why is it so hard for verizon to keep on top of their own promotions? Has anyone had similar experiences?
