Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 5

I recently bought a LENOVO ThinkPad Yoga Gen 5 with built in LTE.  Verizon tells me that my device is not compatible, but Lenovo says it is compatible.  When I put an active SIM card from my iPad in, it works fine.  Bit they say my IMEI number is not compatible so I cant have an individual line for this device.  I know it is a number thing, where and how can I get this resolved?

Fenestrationseneation, certain devices, even though unlocked may not be compatible specifically with Verizon Wireless' network. Did you specifically reference the IMEI number on our website as shown in the link below?
