I switched to verizon two months ago to take advantage of their trade-in program that offered 1000 dollars for my iphone 11 pro. I got the new iphone 14 pro max.
When I went to the store to return it, they told me that I can only do it online and they checked my mailing address with me to make sure it is correct and I will receive the trade-in kit within 7-10 days.
I called them after two weeks and they told me that there was a mixup and that is why I didn't receive the trade-in kit. They again asked me to verify my address and told me they will send me the kit. I asked them if they can email me the label so I can package it myself and ship the phone to them but they said it is not possible and they have to send me the kit. They also told me not to worry about the trade-in period because this is their fault and they will put a note on my account.
two more weeks passed and still no trade-in kit. i called them again and all conversations were repeated for one more time. Then they told me there would also be a promotion and we will get discounts of 20 dollars per line which would be 100 since there is 5 of us on the account. they also told me that they arranged a follow-up call for two weeks from then to make sure everything went smoothly.
two more weeks passed, noo trade-in kit and no follow-up phone call!
I called them AGAIN! this time they told me you are out of the trade-in period and you cannot return your phone and use the 1000 dollar trade in promotion! I told them how they told me it is okay if it is not my fault and how they did not send me a kit to return the phone in, but the agent told me that there is nothing he can do!!
Now, it has been 1.5 hours that I'm on the line and waiting for a his manager to talk to him!

UPDATE: They hung up on me all of a sudden without any explanation!!
